Zenger Farm

Mission
Zenger Farm is a working urban farm that models, promotes, and educates about sustainable food systems, environmental stewardship, community development, and access to good food for all. We engage with over 5,000 community members annually through educational social justice and food access programs. ~ Thank you for a successful 2023 Give!Guide campaign, engage with us onsite at the farm in 2024! Bottom Line for Portland
Our programs focus on food access and youth education, building community in an urban green space in outer SE Portland, the most racially and economically diverse neighborhood in Portland. We seek to uplift a community of diverse food leaders, food growers, and environmental stewards. Last year, our sliding scale community supported agriculture shares fed over 200 people, our prescription produce program provided 7,560 weekly shares to patient’s families, 4 beginning farmer apprentices and 8 interns graduated from our annual paid apprenticeship program, our farm school and field trip educational programs worked with over 3,000 neighborhood kids, and our Community Chefs provided 1,225 meals to farm event attendees.
