Quote
“I just adore you guys (PRO) for being there for me! When I first called, I was a mess on the phone, and you all were so helpful and kind. My husband is walking straighter and talking better. The referrals and the support group have done wonders for us each, and I appreciate you guys from the bottom of my heart.” --L. D.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Parkinson’s disease is considered a disability by the SSA and is the fastest-growing neurological condition. We promote positive physical and mental health for those living with disabilities by offering in-person, virtual, and hybrid programs, classes, and support regardless of ability to pay. Parkinson’s disease does not discriminate who it affects by race, religion, culture, or socio-economic level, nor do we—and through our Rural Outreach Initiative, we are addressing the education, support, and wellness needs of those with little to no access to Parkinson’s-focused healthcare or resources.
